What does it take to lead a championship team when every second counts? In this episode of This Is Life, host Jimmy Page sits down with Jake Claborn, Head Pit Coach at Hendrick Motorsports, to explore the intersection of faith, leadership, and high performance in one of the most competitive environments in professional sports. From coaching college football to leading elite NASCAR pit crews, Jake shares how preparation, discipline, trust, and attention to detail shape a championship culture. He also opens up about his personal faith journey, navigating pressure, leading through adversity, and learning to trust God's plan when life takes an unexpected turn. Together, Jimmy and Jake discuss the importance of building relationships, embracing difficult conversations, maintaining an attitude of gratitude, and finding your identity beyond your accomplishments. Through it all, Jake shares a powerful perspective: winning matters, but true victory is found in something far greater than the scoreboard.
